
Light’s End is a turn based RPG where players must face the wrathful sun god using an assortment of Chosen, legendary warriors bestowed with gifts from the gods. Use your abilities to affect the terrain you walk on, forever changing the layout of the map, making no two playthroughs the same!
Light’s End was developed over the course of an entire semester as a partner project for a USC Games intermediate development course. We chose to continue refining and polishing it after the semester was over, so it is still in progress.
Engineering
I facilitated the entirety of the engineering on the project. I implemented a detailed turn-based movement system, a seamless turn-based combat system, functional enemy behaviors, and complex abilities for each character. This was by far the most advanced game I have ever had the privilege of working on.

Tutorial UI
Design
I helped facilitate the design of character abilities and the health system. Since most abilities could forever change the terrain that the player was on, I had to take every interaction into account and make sure there were no missing pieces to this system.
